from 18 reviewsEasy to apply and my 6 y.o. SUV looks slick!
It was easy to apply and the finish was satisfactory. However, I think it's better to do the base preparation properly. I took my time and it took me two days to complete it.
This is amazing! I don't want to tell anyone about it because I don't want the price to go up! I thought it would cost me 10 times as much to have it done by a professional, so I decided to buy it and do it myself every year. Now, after half a year, it hardly gets dirty, and by washing it about once a month, it maintains its new car shine.
If you have it done, you can paint it yourself for tens of thousands of yen with just a little effort. It's not particularly difficult, just remove iron powder and degrease, wash the car, wipe it off, and paint it with a liquid mixed with a hardener. It's easy and doesn't get uneven. ○○Keeper also requires maintenance, so I think this is cheaper. It repels paint well.
This was done on the day the new car was delivered. It was a hot day in late July, but fortunately it didn't rain, so the car was washed and coated starting at around 5pm. It took time to drain the water from the grill, the inside of the rearview mirror, the inside of the back door, etc., and the sun went down before we got to the top coat, so we had to do it early the next morning. (I realized that if you want to apply the top coat quickly, a blower is essential.) It's been a month, but I'm satisfied with the condition of the treated areas. I think it's a great product. I'd like to maintain it properly in the future.
When I bought a new car, I thought about applying an expensive coating, but I'm not that wealthy, so I bought it and decided to do it myself. It was the first time I washed a new car right after buying it, and even an amateur could see that the coating was done well. By the way, I bought a XL, which is a light car, and used it up. I think I'll coat it again about once every six months, but I don't think I'll need it that much from now on. I had so much left over that I sprayed it twice + α lol
I applied it to a new LBX on the day it was delivered, but it didn't leave any unevenness,so I wondered if this was okay? But after applying a top coat and leaving it on for a while, it felt like it was nicely coated. I'm not sure about durability or water repellency, but if it lasts for 3 years, I think it's great!
I thought it would cost me 10 times as much to have it done by a professional, so I decided to buy it and do it myself every year.
I applied it to a 90 Voxy. I bought the LL size with a little extra, but even after three coats, I still had some left over. (It was done in a garage, so there was no wind.) If you're on a budget, the L size might be enough. It only requires one coat of top coat. I don't have the skills to polish it, but it turned out to be as good as if it had been done by a professional. I'm very satisfied. The mask and gloves that come with it are essential. Even with a mask on, the smell is so strong that even with air ventilating, I still feel a little sick. 1 person found this helpful
It's a reliable product since its release. I applied it right after the car was delivered, and the results were as expected.
The instructions are very easy to understand, so if you read them carefully, you can apply it properly. I think it's for people who don't mind putting in the effort. I was tired because I had to wash the car, coat it with Silazane 50, wipe off the top coat three times, and apply it twice. I left the car for a month without washing it, so I was surprised at how clean it was just by washing it with water. It seems like it will last a long time if I maintain it, so I'm glad I bought it. It's a black car, but it has a deeper color.
I was quite torn between other glass coatings, but I chose Silazane and it was the right choice. It was very easy to apply, but the finished glass coating was more solid than I expected. However, when applying for the first time, I think you will need a lot of it, so I'm glad I went with M even though it's light. I was able to apply it to resin and around the grill.
I applied it a week after delivery, and after watching a YouTube video with the president of Nippon Lighting. That's it. Continuous! Lol! Well, I'll give it a try. The body becomes smooth as soon as I apply it! You can see it by looking and touching it. Insects can't land on the door. It's too smooth and their feet slip. Even insects on the roof are slipping. It's amazing! Afterthe application is complete, you can see that the car is covered with a transparent curtain. I haven't tried Shirazan Fall, but I'm looking forward to the next car wash.P.S., car wash experience after 2 weeks, open-air parking lot. (2025.3.16-28) In the two weeks since application, the weather has been amazing, with frost, pollen flying, rain, and summer days. I thought maybe I'd applied it on the wrong date, but I only gently washed it with water until it was completely cured in a month, and now! Car wash! Since it's a light car, it's over in no time and dirt comes off easily. The long-awaited Shirazan Fall! It's amazing. Water poured onto the hood doesn't just drip, it slides down the hood and falls in the direction of the hood's inclination. I have another regular car that has had dealer coating applied for about 80,000 yen, but Shirazan 50 is definitely the winner! I don't know how it will change over time though... I think the application, shine, and cost performance are good.
I bought a maintenance agent set with a top coat because I hit my car and had to paint the bodywork. The maintenance agent is a protective film, so it cannot remove ion deposits.I recommend the Perfect Set.I have some extra L size left over for my Jimny, but I chose this because it can be applied over the dealer's glass coating, can be applied to glass and bumpers, and is harder than clear paint.I bought it a year and a half ago and let it sleep in the garage for a year. It was hard to remove about half a year's worth of dirt, so it took me two days to apply it.The coating itself was easy and good.It can be applied just like Surlastar.I didn't know when to apply the top coat, so I gathered information online.I found information that it was good to wait two hours after applying Silazane 50.However, about an hour after I finished painting, the wind started blowing, so I hurriedly sprayed the top coat. I'll see what happens, but I'll review it later. It was worth the effort, and the gloss returned to the same level as a new car. However, unlike a professional, it didn't get polished, so it didn't become shiny.I recommend applying it when the car is new. It's been a month since then.It repels water well, and most water droplets can be blown away with a blower. It has significantly reduced the time it takes to wipe off, making washing the car easier. It has almost completely hardened, and has become quite shiny. The original purpose of protecting the painted parts of the sheet metal has been achieved.
It's too easy for car wash lovers to apply, so it's not enough, but it gives you peace of mind and trust. This time, I applied it to a Crown Sedan, and the L size allows for two coats. When applying multiple coats , I recommend leaving an interval of 1-2 hours between coats .
